Founder of DO IT MY WAY!
A young man from a small town in Punjab, India, never imagined himself as a confident English speaker when he was in the 12th grade. However, after facing some discouraging remarks within his family, he found the motivation to focus on improving his communication skills. As the sole child in his family, he had numerous responsibilities, so he made the decision to move to Chandigarh to pursue a degree in hotel management. This marked the beginning of his professional journey in 2014.
He successfully secured his first job interview at the JW Marriott in Chandigarh, where he gained valuable knowledge in hospitality and customer service skills, which also helped boost his confidence. Subsequently, he was promoted to the position of Room Controller at the same hotel.
With the unwavering support of his parents, he was encouraged to appear for the Jet Airways interview, despite having limited information about the job profile. By the grace of God, he successfully cleared the cabin crew interview on his first attempt, becoming the sole male candidate among 700 boys from Chandigarh to achieve this feat.
After gaining valuable experience for nearly two years, he received an exciting opportunity through LinkedIn from the renowned IT giant, Infosys. He joined as an executive in the facilities department, where he efficiently managed the travel and transport operations.
Furthermore, he ventured into a new role as a business development officer, where he skilfully managed over 150 business associates and played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by an impressive 200%.
He recently concluded his tenure at Qatar Airways, where he served as a business-class cabin crew member. During his time there, he acquired expertise in providing five-star service, handling customers, and developing cultural awareness. He maintained an impeccable record throughout his years of service. Remarkably, he was among the first in his batch to be promoted to the Qatar Airways business-class cabin crew team.
In addition to his experience in the aviation industry, he is also a certified career counsellor. He is equipped to offer guidance on various facets of career development, encompassing selecting a career path, honing skills, and navigating career transitions.
Furthermore, he is a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) trainer, holding a TESOL certification accredited by the UK. In this capacity, he supports students in their quest to master the English language.
He also has experience hosting seminars, delivering motivational speeches, and giving guest lectures at renowned universities such as Amity University and GNA University, as well as various five-star hotels like the JW Marriott and Radisson, and so on.
With the vision of providing quality education at affordable prices, he established his own online and offline academy, Do It My Way, where he focuses on training individuals and sharing valuable information about aviation, hospitality, and customer-oriented jobs.
To date, he has trained over 200 individuals who have gone on to work for domestic and international companies such as Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Cathay Pacific, Turkish Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Swiss Air, IndiGo, Vistara, and many more!
